Based on the Circular No. IMI-0315.GR.01.01 of 2023, and the regulation from Ministry of Law and Human Rights regulation No. 22 of 2023, foreign investors must have IDR 10 billion shares investment for investor KITAS and IDR 15 billion for investor KITAP application.
Applications for new investor KITAS must have a personal share investment of at least IDR 10 billion and investor KITAS extension with a personal share investment of at least IDR 1 billion are accepted until December 31, 2024.
After December 31, 2024, for the investor who holds the position of director or commissary in a company with share investment less that IDR 10 billion, they will need to switch to working KITAS and get work permit (required to pay monthly contributions USD 100/month in the DKP-TKA (Development Funds in Exchange of hiring a foreign worker) or they can increase their a personal share value to be at least IDR 10 billion.
ACTION REQUIRED:
- Increase personal share investment to be 10 billion for Investor KITAS holders or 15 billion for Investor KITAP holders, or
- Switch to working KITAS and get work permit.
