Child Visa ( E31E)
The Child Visa (E31E) is a limited stay visa for foreign children who want to live in Indonesia with their parents. This visa is usually granted to children whose parent holds a valid Indonesian stay permit (KITAS or KITAP), such as a work visa, investor visa, retirement visa, or spouse visa.
This visa allows the child to stay legally in Indonesia and follow the same stay period as the sponsoring parent.
Who Can Apply for Child Visa (E31E)?
The Child Visa (E31E) is generally available for:
- Foreign children under 18 years old
- Children whose parent holds a valid Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) in Indonesia
What You Can Do with Child Visa ( E31E)
- Live and study in Indonesia.
- Travel to and from Indonesia as many times you want.
Activities Not Allowed with Child Visa ( E31E)
- Staying in Indonesia over the period of your stay permit, engaging in prohibited activities, not complying with visa conditions, and/or not complying with Indonesian laws may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- The Child Visa (E31E) does not allow the child to work in Indonesia.
- When the child turns 18 years old or gets married, the visa status must be changed.
- If the parent’s stay permit is cancelled, the child’s permit will also be affected.
WHAT IS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR Child Visa (E31E) APPLICATION?
Parents and Company Sponsor Document Requirement:
- Director ID card (KTP) or Local Manager ID card (KTP).
- Company current account for the last 2 (two) months.
- Username and password for https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
- Company Letter Head and Company Stamp.
- Copy passport of the mother or father.
- A valid Stay Permit of the mother or father.
- Marriage certificate or marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator except those that have been written in English
Applicant Document Requirement:
- Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months.
- Proof of living expenses of at least US$2000 (two thousand American dollars) or equivalent.
- Birth certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator except those that have been written in English
- Latest color photograph.
- Travel Itinerary.
