Working Visa granted to foreign who wish to work and stay in Indonesia. They can choose from various types of work but they only can chose one position in the company depending on their qualifications. Presidential Regulation No. 20 of 2018 concerning the Usage of Foreign Workers regulates that the foreign workers can be employed for certain positions. The lists of positions available for foreign workers were regulated under various decrees of the Ministry of Manpower, where each decree referred to a specific business sector. Ministry of Manpower now issued Decree No. 228 of 2019 on Certain Positions Which May Be Occupied by Foreign Workers.

Working Visa (E23)

Foreigner also will get Notification or Work Permit (former IMTA) from Ministry of Manpower, the company will need to pay DKP-TKA (Development Funds in Exchange of hiring a foreign worker) advanced with amount USD 100 per month.

Once the Working Permit approved, the foreigner can apply for Working Visa and submit to the Online Immigration System. An electronic visa will be send to the company email. The  foreigner can enter with this visa and Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) will be grated upon the arrival.
