The Directorate General of Immigration issued a 5-year Multiple-Entry Visas index D1 for tourism activities and D2 index is available for business purposes. The new visa policy makes foreigners more comfortable to enter Indonesia for business and tourism activities.

This type of visa is valid for multiple entries to Indonesia and valid for a period of 5 year starting on the first date of arrival in Indonesia with no more than 60 days per visit. This type of visa is applied for those who require several visits to Indonesia for the purpose of official government activities, business or commercial activities, tourism and social or family visit. Please note that this visa is not valid for paid working purposes.

Requirements:

1. A legal passport and still valid for at least six years for a Multiple Entry Visa application with a validity period of five years
2. A proof of life expense for the applicant and/or their family while in Indonesian territory of at least 2,000 USD or equivalent
3. A return ticket or onward ticket to continue the trip to another country, except for the crew of means of transports who will stop over to join the ship and continue the journey to another country
4. Copies of colored photographs with a size of 4 cm x 6 cm

The Directorate General of Immigration implements visa policies to ensure that Indonesia gets quality foreign citizens. It is also implemented by many other countries, such as Australia and Europe, which require foreign citizens to have a visa to enter their country.
