Indonesian and foreign citizens who hold limited stay permit or permanent stay permit can apply for Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK). Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) is valid for 6 months since the day it was issued. Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) may be extended.

This is the requirements to get Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) for foreigners, as follows:
- Letter of application from sponsors, corporations, or agencies that employ, use, or be responsible to foreigners.
- Photocopy of ID card and Marriage Certificate if you hold Spouse of Indonesian Citizen stay permit.
- Copy of passport.
- Photocopy of Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP).
- Fingerprint formula (if any).
- Color photograph 2 (two) pieces (4x6 cm) with a yellow background, photos of politely dressed and collared, photos that do not use facial accessories, facial apprearance, and for applicants who wear headscarves, the photo must have a full face.
